I didn't know Dennis at all but read the story on Facebook. I have never written a condolence on someone I don't know. I just wanted to because I feel he was a great man. I would like to extend my thoughts and prayers to all of his family during this very difficult time. He will Always be with You. Sincerely, Marc A Gilman

Our hearts are broken - what a great guy - After having Dennis and his family as friends some 30 years, we really know - what a special man... Dennis was liked by everyone and loved by many; he was kind and respectful even to those he had to deal with in his service as a law man. He was fair and honest beyond measure and the world has really lost a true HERO! Kerrie, we had prayed and prayed and will continue to do so for you and your loved ones... Love Wayne & Shirleen

Sending sincere condolences to the loving Family (and friends) of Dennis B. Vincent. Losing a loved one is so painful. May you cherish all the wonderful memories you have of Dennis. May the light from God's Word be a guide and comfort through the darkness of your loss (2 Corinthians 1:3,4). Soon, God's Kingdom will turn tears of sorrow into tears of joy and neither sickness or death will be (Isaiah 33:24; Isaiah 25:8) For additional information on a wonderful hope for your loved one, please go to: https://www.jw.org/en/publications/books/bible-teach/hope-resurrection-of-dead-loved-ones/#?insight[search_id]=1a16b01e-bfa2-4d50-b7c9-49e97cb3d429&insight[search_result_index]=3

Recent training in Atlanta, GA. My heart is completely shattered to know you are no longer physically with us but I am completely honored to have met you, worked with you and shared some laughs. May God place his loving hand on your family, blue family and DMORT family. You will be greatly missed but until we meet again in God's house.

Our DMORT family is hurting as we have lost a dedicated, loyal and caring member. It was my privilege to have known Dennis for many years through various trainings and assisting with Hurricane Katrina. In late July I was fortunate to spend time with Dennis at a training in Atlanta. We picked up our conversation where we left off a few years earlier and had a fun week, he was just that friendly and easy to chat with. To Karrie-de, the boys and Dennis' grandchildren, please know Dennis loved you and was proud of all of you.

Dennis was the kind of person who just made everything better. He had a awesome smile, a great sense of humor and was kind to everyone. He always had time to talk to and listen. He helped me time and time again.

His law enforcement service started when we were kids riding our bikes. I will never forget getting tickets from him. He carried a notebook and had a siren on his bike. It didn't matter what we were playing, he was the law. He was fun. I really enjoyed growing up with Dennis. He was a good kid. I was so thrilled that he became a law officer like he always wanted to be. Not many people make their dreams come true and he did. He was genuinely a good person and will be missed by so many. I'm so sorry for his loss to his friends and the community and particularly for his family. Best wishes during this extremely hard time.

I am very sorry to hear of Dennis's passing. He was as good a guy as you could ever hope to come across. I will miss him pulling me over just to say hello, and running into him around town. My thoughts and prayers are with Karrie and the Kids.

It was an honor to serve with Vinny and an honor to be his friend. Vinny always had a smile and a joke. He had a gift for being able to lift everyone's spirit even after the toughest day, no matter what kind of situation we'd been called to handle. He was truly one of the good guys. God bless and keep you friend. Praying for his repose and for Carrie and his family.
