BRIGHAM CITY – Our loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and friend, Michael Andrew Jensen, 50, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at his mother’s home. He was born on April 14, 1967 in Ogden, Utah, a son of Devon and Lorraine Sandberg Jensen. Mike was reared and educated in Ogden, and graduated from Ben Lomond High School in 1985. He married Marie Rivas on August 31, 1997 in Ogden, Utah. Mike and Marie moved to Brigham City after their marriage. Mike was a member of the LDS Church and Fraternal Order of the Eagles. He had worked various jobs including a ditch rider for the Bear River Canal Company until his medical retirement. Mike enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and his animals. The family would like to thank Encompass Hospice, family and friends for their service to Mike. Surviving are his wife, Marie; two children: Anthony J (Kaci) Jensen; Michael A. (Anecia) Jensen, Jr.; 4 grandchildren; his mother, Lorraine Jensen; six siblings, Connie (Kent) Hammond; Terry (Janet) Jensen; Randy (Lisa) Jensen; Debbie (Monte) Criddle; Kelly (Shirley) Jensen; James (Robyn) Jensen. Mike cherished his nephews and they will miss him very much. He was preceded in death by his father, Devon and one sister, Bonnie East. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. John Adams Park Bowery, 575 East 100 North, Brigham City, Utah.
